Staff Highlight: Onpoint Welcomes Dean Richardson, VP Materials Management

Following our acquisition of Scope Management Solutions in September, Onpoint Industrial Services is pleased to welcome the former President and Co-founder of Scope Management Solutions to the Onpoint leadership team as our new Vice President of Materials Management.

Prior to starting Scope in 2004 and joining Onpoint in 2020, Dean served as manager of contract services for a top-ranked distribution company serving the industrial and energy markets. He is no stranger to material handling and integration programs, having spent 15 years in roles including inventory control, sales, operations management and contract services of integration programs.

Dean’s day-to-day responsibilities center on driving all Materials Management operations while actively seeking any opportunities to incorporate new solutions or growth verticals applicable to Materials Management. His presence as the Materials Management subject matter expert makes him a clear asset to the company as he supports our sales team in the marketplace.

In this new role, Dean is looking forward to having more hands-on opportunities with customers, solutions and day-to-day operations. Dean believes this acquisition has allowed for the expansion of service offerings from A-Z, as well as the firm backing required to continue developing better technology, processes and solutions.

“Throughout this acquisition, it’s obvious that Onpoint is a united front. The Onpoint team is not divided,” said Richardson. “We all have the same, unified goals, and that’s to provide top-quality services to our customers so they complete their projects and turnarounds on time and on budget.”
