At OnPoint we take great pride in helping to set up our customers for success. SOTX provides continuing opportunities for these beautiful Texans to realize their potential, develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy and friendship. We consider it a privilege to contribute to SOTX, as the participation brings out the best in all of us.

Character Camp

Character Camp began in 1986 as an outreach organization to inner-city youth in Houston. The organization believes that getting kids involved in sports, recreation and academic activities sets them up for success. Character Camp gives youth a safe, productive place to go after school and during the summer, and provides countless children with necessities like food, clothing and shelter that may not otherwise be accessible. Character Camp focuses on twelve key character elements that help guide and mold the kids they serve into well-prepared adults equipped with critical life skills. Their volunteers are highly motivated educators, coaches, doctors, engineers and other highly skilled mentors. Our own Director of Training, Arthur Davidson, is the Executive Director of Character Camp. His passion for the mission is infectious, and it ignited a fire in us, prompting us to get involved in their efforts.

American Cancer Society

American Cancer Society

OnPoint and our employees are very proud to support the American Cancer Society, a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Their work starts with researching the disease and its many causes to find more answers and better treatments. Then their efforts extend to promoting healthy lifestyles to help us all prevent cancer, fighting for life-saving policy changes, and providing everything from emotional support to the latest information for those who have been touched by cancer. And they do it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
